• The Society opereates the Boorowa Museum which is located in what is believed to be the last commercial building of pise construction still in use in Australia.
  
  The building was built circa 1860 by George Patterson as his undertaker's premises. Extensive restoration of the building took place in 1999/2000 through Commonwealth Federation Fund and Booowa Council grants. Displays include 'Windows on Wool', paying tribute to the local wool industry; the Hume family display including the 'Hume Costume Collection' and information on the nearby 'Tarengo', built by Frederick William Hume, nephew of Hamilton Hume; the 'Star of Murrungal', a locally built bullock wagon; a DVD persentation 'Welcome to Boorowa' outlining the settlement of Boorowa; and temporary and travelling exhibitions.
